InfoEyes

InfoEyes LogoWelcome to InfoEyes!

InfoEyes allows users to ask a librarian to help you find information about absolutely anything! From locating a list of symptoms for common eye diseases, to finding a gingerbread cookie recipe, our librarians can find the information you need.

How to Use InfoEyes

InfoEyes will be available beginning March 1st.

There are three ways to ask a reference question!

1. Email A Reference Question - We will respond to your question within 48 hours

2. Ask a Reference Question via Textchat - Ask a question of library staff via text chat

3. Ask a Question via InfoEyes Live Reference Session

This is the premier service where users interact with a librarian live and online via audio, and actually hear a librarian's voice while they co-browse the Internet and chat with you. Information and resources are sent directly to your computer. When activating the Ask a Question via InfoEyes Live Reference Session link, you will be prompted to download and install a plug-in that will allow you to participate in an InfoEyes Live Reference session. Before downloading and installing the plug-in, please visit the System Requirements page.

You can also schedule a time for training on searching the Internet and First Search databases. If you would like training, please email us and we will set up a session for you.
